K9 Communication is owned and operated by Tess who is a qualified dog trainer. I earned my qualification through the National Dog Trainers Federation and have over 5 years of experience in dog handling. I have previously worked with Pawshake (pet sitting service) and currently work with the shelter dogs at RSPCA Victoria as well as instruct at one of Victoria's leading dog training centres.
I joined GSRV in 2016 and it has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I volunteered to gain more experience with the breed, and to expand my knowledge on behaviour and handling dogs in general. Since that time, I have been asked to take on the role of Adoptions Coordinator; and have adopted two dogs of my own from the rescue. I spend most of my days with my two dogs who inspire me everyday to become better at the craft that I love. When I'm not spending time with them, I am usually doing all things 'shepherd rescue' related- and I wouldn't have it any other way!
I often hear the same expressions from clients-
"I love my dog, but-"
"My dog is awesome, but-"
"I know that I need to do something about my dog.. because what I'm doing isn't working.'
I can help you not only solve your problems, but I also want to help solve your dog's problems. And if we do that, you will have a better understanding of your dog, you will be able to communicate better with your dog, and you and your dog will have a solid, reliable and respectful relationship.
K9 Communication provides dog training and walking for the Mornington Peninsula and South East suburbs.
Please provide in brief what you would like assistance with and I will be in touch as soon as I am able.
